Right now are exams, and I'll be in the middle of such things for at least another week. I have an exam on Thursday, and on Friday, and possibly another (going to ask about that tomorrow). So I have to learn "un montón" (a tonne) about Basques and their language and culture (basically everything that I haven't understood this semester. Which is basically everything) before Friday, and try and remember phrases and idioms in Spanish which have helped me realize how difficult the ones in English must be to remember.
So. Before Christmas, I went to France before Christmas, and saw a few friends. Chad and Brad, from both State and Providence, were studying in Aix-en-Provence. It's a really pretty city, though a bit posh and expensive, and they were in pretty much the apartment with the most amazing view I've ever soon. That's a blog to come, Eh? Also visited Marseille on a day trip, and then Montpellier to visit Mayra, a friend from the dorm last year.
So then, Scotland for Christmas. It was really good, I had a great time with Angus and his family, and a few of his friends. I was there for New Years, as well. So, those are two blogs that need to come, I reckon. (:
Now I'm back in Pamps, as I said, doing exam stuff. I'm going to be switching apartments, and taking the room of a Corean girl who's going home in a few weeks. I'll be living with 3 Spanish girls, and a bit closer to the Uni. Hopefully the owners are going to give us a contract (the roommate I talked to said they have to discuss that part) so we can stay a bit into July, for San Fermin times.
So, the lights have been turned off in parts of the library, including where I am. It's only 9:30, and I would've thought things would be open plenty late during exam time, but I'm not really sure. So I guess I'll finish this up, and start getting the research that I'm actually here to find. (:
