1st Semester done and over??? Wow!

Well, today was supposed to be my last exam, for Rural Sociology. We had had to write 3 papers, so I finished those last night, came to uni this morning, printed them off, and went to the classroom. The prof showed up after a bit, and (I didn't understand exactly at first and had to ask some one to clarify what he'd said haha) said that we could either take the exam or turn in the trabajos ("works", projects). So everyone turned in their trabajos, and left.

I have to head off in a few minutes, but thought I'd post a wee blog. First semester for me then is completely done with. I don't yet know any grades (or, in other words, the pass/fail status), except that my Spanish course was fine. I'm also not sure where we even go to check that out, but I'll just ask around to figure that out, and I'm pretty sure that my classes will be fine. Of the five that I had, 3 are definitely good, so I just have to find out about my Basque Language and Culture course, and the Rural Sociology.

Second semester starts up the 16th, so I don't have classes for another couple of weeks. I'm hoping to travel at least a little bit, maybe just to places nearby, though I could also probably do a bit further sort of trip. I'll just have to see.

It's a bit crazy that the first semester is over. But I still have, like, 6 months here, which is also a bit crazy. I can't wait for the fam to come, though. It's gonna be great, bashing around Spain with my weird relations. (:

One of my friends, Joelle (3rd from left), had her birthday recently, so this is the party group. Just a fun, relaxed evening with a few friends. Twas good. (:

I think some time I should write a blog in Spanish, because one of my friends (now I don't remember who haha) told me he'd gone onto my blog, and it seemed cool, but he doesn't speak English. So maybe I'll do that some time. But who knows. It snowed the other day. I guess you can't see it that well, but it was pretty. In the air. Not on the ground. Basically, here snow is the same thing as rain. Makes you wet. But I still like it. (:

Bueno, hasta luego!
